KYBELLA
Kybella is an injectable used to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin, also known as a "double chin." When injected, Kybella dissolves fat cells and does not allow the creation of new fat cells in the injected area. This results in a reduction of fullness, further treatment is not necessary once you reach your desired goal.

What is Kybella?
Kybella is an injectable made of deoxycholic acid. This acid is created in the body and helps with the breakdown of fat. When injected into fatty tissue, Kybella destroys fat cells and does not allow for new fat cell production in that area.
What is the treatment like?
Before treatments begin, an assessment will be completed to see if you are a good candidate. Kybella is injected in a series of 3 - 6 treatments, 6 - 8 weeks apart. It is important to schedule your treatments in correct time order and to note it takes time to see results.
What is the recovery like?
Recovery time and side effects vary per patient. Kybella can cause swelling, tenderness, and soreness to treatment area directly after injection. Bruising and swelling can last up to 7 days post injection. Following pre and post care instructions will aid in an easy recovery.
